Looking Back on 2025
As 2025 draws to a close, it gives us an opportunity to look back on a year that has been both busy, educational, and full of great experiences. The year has included many exciting projects, new collaborations, and continued development of both our business and our competencies.
Before diving into the highlights of the year, we would like to say thank you. Thank you to those of you who have worked with us for many years — and thank you to those who joined us during the year. We truly appreciate being part of your development and helping to make your digital solutions even stronger.
In many ways, 2025 has been a natural continuation of the progress we have made in previous years. We have continued to build on the solid foundation we already stand on, while further expanding our skills and business areas.
Custom Software Solutions Remain Part of Our DNA
Although we have expanded our business areas in recent years, custom software solutions remain a central part of itpilot. This applies both when developing entirely new solutions and when further developing and modernising existing systems. In 2025, we once again had the pleasure of working closely with several companies on a wide range of projects, where both open-source systems and custom development formed a natural part of the solution.
Below is a small selection of the solutions we have worked on in 2025:
We have, among other things, worked on Purus’ product configurator “Rita Din Diskbänk (RDD)”. In this project, we started completely from scratch and built a new solution from the ground up — naturally based on the functionality users already know, but on a far stronger technical foundation. The goal was to eliminate technical debt and provide Purus with a solution that is faster, more stable, and significantly easier to further develop. Read the RDD case here ->
We have also further developed a comprehensive product configurator for JUAL, used for technical calculations, quotation generation, and product reports. The focus here has been to make complex products and rules more accessible for both employees and customers. Read the JUAL case here →
In addition, we collaborated with Viborg F.F. on a new Data Warehouse and BI setup that consolidates data from both training sessions and matches in one place. This makes it significantly easier for the club to analyze player data, identify patterns, and track development over time. Our own product, PIMpilot, is also continuously being developed. Much of this work takes place in close dialogue with users, ensuring that new functionality and improvements reflect the real needs companies encounter in their daily operations.
Odoo Gains Even More Momentum in 2025
Last year we announced that we had expanded our business areas to include Odoo – and in 2025, that development truly gained momentum. Interest in Odoo has grown throughout the year, and we have clearly seen how more companies recognize the potential of a flexible, scalable, and user-friendly ERP solution.
This has led to two new and exciting collaborations. For Lær for Livet we built a new Odoo 18 solution from scratch to support both daily operations and the organization’s strategic development. And in our collaboration with KC Jewelry ApS, which is behind Miramira’s establishment in Denmark, we assisted with POS setup, payment terminal integrations, and advisory services related to accounting and inventory management in Odoo.
The growing demand has also meant that we expanded our Odoo team during the year — both on the consulting and development sides. Today, we have a strong team working dedicatedly with Odoo, capable of handling everything from implementation to complex integrations.
At the same time, our broad technical expertise is a clear advantage for many customers. We work daily with open-source systems and system integrations, and we bring that experience into our Odoo projects. This results in solutions that do not just work within Odoo, but fit seamlessly into the company’s overall system architecture.
In other words, 2025 has been the year in which we firmly established ourselves as a strong Odoo partner — and we look forward to continuing this development in the year ahead.
Stronger Security: ISAE 3402 + ISAE 3000
Data security has always been a key part of how we work, and in 2025 we took another important step forward. In addition to renewing our ISAE 3402 statement once again, we also underwent audit this year and obtained ISAE 3000.
This is something that has been particularly requested by our municipal partners, but it is also highly relevant for many companies that place strong demands on documented security and well-defined processes.
With these two statements we can document that:
- our processes have been reviewed, documented and audited
- we meet high standards for data security and control
- your data and integrations are handled securely and responsibly
For us, this is a natural step in our ambition to be a professional, secure, and reliable supplier — for private companies, nonprofit organizations, and public-sector customers alike.

Welcome to New itpilots
2025 has also brought changes to our team. Pernille returned from parental leave, and in addition, we had the pleasure of welcoming two new itpilots:
- Michael, developer with a particular focus on our Odoo projects.
- Christian, senior developer who brings strong experience and technical depth to our development team.
As a team evolves, it also creates opportunities to reassess roles, workflows, and competencies with fresh eyes. The addition of Christian and Michael has not only brought new skills to the team — it has also strengthened our ability to meet the tasks and projects our customers are working with today.
Our Own AI – Built for Security and Efficiency
2025 was also the year we introduced our own internal AI solution. A tool we use across the organization to streamline workflows, improve quality, and optimize development processes.
AI is an important focus area for many companies — and for us as well. But security always comes first. That is why we have chosen a solution that only we at itpilot have internal access to, and which complies with the high standards documented through our ISAE statements.
For you as customers, this means we can work faster, more structured, and more precisely — without compromising on data security.
